ALERT: FRAUDULENT CASHIERS CHECKS- MYSTERY SHOPPER SCAM It has been brought to our attention that fraudulent cashiers checks are being issued using the Bank of Gower for a mystery shopper scam. The phone number printed in the lower left hand corner of the checks connects to an automated response claiming to be the Bank of Gower. This phone number verifies payment of the fraudulent checks. This phone number is not associated with our bank.
